Contracts of minors

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Contract Act, or in any other law, but subject to the provisions of this Act any person who is under the age of eighteen years shall be competent to enter into a contract of service otherwise than as an employer, Provided that no damages and no payments under sections 43 and 44, shall be recoverable from a child or young person for a breach of any contract of employment.
