Denaturing of carcasses

Where any slaughterhouse has no tanking facilities condemned carcasses shall be denatured with crude carbolic acid, cresylic disinfectant or other prescribed agent or by incineration in the presence of an authorised officer. Any carcass not destroyed by incineration shall be freely slashed with a knife before the denaturing agent is applied.
