Removal of refuse and by-products

The occupier of every slaughterhouse shall causerefuse and by- (a) the contents of every receptacle or bay containing manure and every receptacle 78 Food and Drugs referred to in subparagraph (b) of regulation 22 to be removed from the slaughterhouse as often as may be necessary to prevent a nuisance and in any event at least once daily and after the contents have been so removed he shall cause the receptacle or bay to be thoroughly cleansed before being used again; (b) by-products of slaughtering not intended for human consumption, including hides and skins, to be removed from the slaughterhouse as often as may be necessary to prevent a nuisance and in any event at least daily.
