Relief from duties

(1) Upon obtaining the written approval of the Executive Director, Belize Trade and Investment Development Service, the Company shall be permitted to import such quantity of such items free of customs duty, and revenue replacement duty as shall have been proved unavailable from suitable local products or raw materials, and necessary for the establishment/expansion and operation of the Company, and for the sole use thereof, but limited to60 Fiscal Incentives Building Equipment Fixtures and Fittings Office Equipment/Appliances Utilities/Transport Vehicles – One (1) Bobcat backhoe with trailer, (1) Bobcat Loader with trailer, one (1) 24 Ton crane, one (1) Fork Lift, Four (4) Covered Tool Trailers, Two (2) Garden Tractor with Mower, Back Blade and Trailer, one hundred and fifteen (115) Golf Carts, Two (2) Land Rover D110, Two (2) Pickup Trucks F250, Three (3) trailers (12’), Four (4) Trailers (40’), one (1) 4/6 seater airplane and two (2) Float Planes. Restaurant/Bar Equipment Marine Crafts – Six (6) Hobie Cats, Fourteen (14) Kayaks, eight (8) Sailboards, two (2) 65’ Viking Sport Fisher, Sixteen (16) Marine Engines and Two (2) Pontoon Boat. (2) The items under the categories referred to in section 4(1) above shall be for the exclusive use of the enterprise Mahogany Bay Limited and shall not be removed from the approved location mentioned in Section 2 above.
