Local jurisdiction

The jurisdiction of the court for the purposes of the Code, Cap. 101 or any other law creating a crime extends to every place within Belize, or within any island or territory over which the Government exercises authority for the time being or within three miles of the coast of Belize, or of any coast of any such island or territory aforesaid. 15
