Sentence of death; how executed

Sentence of death shall be executed by hanging, and shall be carried into effect within the walls of the prison in which the prisoner is confined at the time of the execution, Provided that the Governor-General may in any case, if he thinks fit, direct that any sentence of death shall be carried into effect elsewhere in Belize, and it shall be carried into effect accordingly.
