Proof of deed executed in Belize

(1) Where a deed is executed in Belize, the execution thereof may be proved by the personal acknowledgement of the person or persons purporting to part with and pass any interest under such deed, or by the oath of one of the subscribing witnesses to such deed. (2) The following persons are hereby authorised to take such acknowledgement or to administer such oath16 (a) the Chief Justice; (b) the Registrar; (c) a commissioner of the Supreme Court; and (d) a justice of the peace.
