Declaration of alcalde districts

(1) The Minister may, from time to time by Order published in the Gazette, declare any area within Belize an alcalde jurisdiction district. (2) As many such districts may be declared as the Minister thinks fit. 28 (3) Until the Minister declares districts under this section, the alcalde districts in existence immediately before the commencement of this Act shall be deemed districts declared pursuant to this section.
