Accounting by bailiff

(1) Every bailiff who receives money by virtue of his office shall forthwith pay it in to the clerk of the courts and once in every week, and oftener if required by the magistrate to do so, and shall give to the clerk of the courts a full, true and particular account of all moneys received by him since the last (2) Any bailiff who fails to comply with sub-section (1) is liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars in addition to any other punishment to which he may be liable. (3) The clerk of the courts shall pay out to the parties lawfully entitled thereto all the moneys received by him from the bailiff and shall file and keep all receipts and accounts relating thereto among the records of the courts.
