Appointment of clerk and assistant clerk

(1) The Public Services Commission may appoint a fit and proper person a clerk of the courts in each judicial district. (2) The Public Services Commission may appoint a fit and proper person assistant clerk of the courts in each judicial district whenever the state of business renders the appointment necessary, and in the case of the courts of the Belize Judicial District, may appoint more assistant clerks than one.
