Polling areas

(1) Each electoral division may be a polling area. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), each electoral division may be subdivided into such number of polling areas as the Chief Elections Officer, with the approval of the Commission, considers necessary with such boundaries and description as he may by notice published in the Gazette appoint. (3) In determining the boundaries of any polling area the Chief Elections Officer shall have regard to geographical considerations and such other factors as may effect the facility of communication between various places within the polling area.
