Election of Chairperson and appointment of officers and employees of the council

(1) The electors shall elect a person as Chairperson of the council and six other persons who will form the village (2) After a council has been constituted, the members shall elect from among themselves the following officers, (a) a deputy chairperson; (b) a secretary; and (c) a treasurer.
