Saving

This prohibition shall not apply to animals– (a) secured in the Slaughter house yard for the purpose of slaughter provided that no such animal shall be kept in the Slaughter house yard for more than forty-eight hours of the period allowed by the Dangriga (Market and Slaughter house) By-Laws, whichever shall be the lesser period; (b) brought into town by or through the Agricultural Department for an Agricultural Show or any Town Councils 257 other Agricultural purpose, with the written permission of the Mayor, Dangriga Town Council, provided that no animal shall be kept for more than six hours before or after the function.
