Weighing animals

Animals intended for slaughter shall be weighed on the weighbridge established for such purpose on the Market premises and it shall be incumbent on persons in charge of such animals, to notify the Clerk of the Slaughter house when such animals shall be weighed, and a register of weights shall be kept by the Clerk of the Slaughter house for the purpose of recording the weights of such animals and the Town Administrator is required from time to time to inspect the said register to ensure that it is properly kept.
