Non-abatement of election petition by reason only of a dissolution of Town Council

Any election petition shall not be abated by reason only of a dissolution of the Town Council and accordingly in the event of such dissolution such petition shall be heard or continue to be heard, and determined as though the Town Council had not been dissolved but was in session.
