Penalties

(1) Every person who is issued with a violation ticket shall, except as otherwise provided by bylaw 16, pay a fine of– (a) in the case of a person operating a business, a body corporate or an unincorporated body, one thousand dollars; (b) in the case of any other person, five hundred dollars; which amount shall be clearly stated on the face of the violation (2) Where the person committing the littering offence is a juvenile, the parent or guardian of the juvenile shall be held responsible for the penalty under sub-bylaw (1) (b) an issued with a violation ticket.
