Establishment and membership of the Utility Coordination Unit

(1) There shall be and is hereby established a Unit to be known as the Utility Coordination Unit. Unit. (2) The members of the Unit shall comprise the followingBelmopan City Council 39 (a) Chief Transport Officer, Department of Transport, Belmopan or any other Transport Officer duly authorized to represent him; (b) Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Works or his representative; (c) one person nominated by each of the utility (d) two persons appointed by the Mayor, one of whom shall be the City Administrator; and (e) the Fire Chief or his representative. (3) The functions of the Unit shall include– (a) regulating and controlling the activities and operations of utility agencies; (b) ensuring effective coordination among all (c) enforcing these By-laws; and (d) any other functions or duties required to be carried out under these By-laws.
