Offences

(1) Any utility agency which– (a) fails to register under these By-laws; 42 Belmopan City Council (b) carries out any works without permission; (c) fails to adhere to any conditions specified by the Unit while carrying out any works; (d) fails to remedy damage to City infrastructure within a specified and reasonable timeframe, commits an offence under these By-laws. (2) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any other law, any utility agency which commits an offence under these By-laws shall be liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars and to a further sum of one hundred dollars for each day that the offence continues.
