Protection of Council officials

Every person who obstructs or impedes or insults or molests or attempts to obstruct or impede or insult or molest any member of the Council, or the City Administrator or other officer or employee of the Council lawfully authorised as such by this Act in the discharge of his duties or in his official capacity or in the exercise of his powers either under this or any other Act or any Regulations or By-laws commits an 51 offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars.
