Penalty

Every person who contravenes or fails to comply with any of these regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to the penalty prescribed in section 23 of the Act, that is to say, a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both such fine and imprisonment.
