Write-offs on recommendation of Council

In cases of arrears due by particular individuals where every effort to collect has failed and where the amount in any one case does not exceed one thousand dollars, the authority of the Council shall be required for write off. Where the amount in any one case exceeds one thousand dollars, the recommendation of the Council, and the authority of the Minister of Finance, shall be required for write off.
