False claims to registration

A person who84 Belize City Council (a) has not attained the age of eighteen years; or (b) does not have the requisite residential qualifications for inclusion in the register and who wilfully makes any claim to be included in the register of electors shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.
