Procedure and practice on election petitions

(1) Subject to the provisions of this regulation, the procedure and practice on election petition shall be regulated by the regulations contained in Part VII of these Regulations. (2) If any matter of procedure or practice on an election petition shall arise which is not provided for by these Regulations, the procedure or practice followed in England on the same matter shall, so far as it is not inconsistent with these Regulations and is suitable for application to Belize, be followed and shall have 72 Belize City Council
