Employees eligible for loans

The following classes of employees are hereby declared to be employees eligible for loans made under the Government Housing Loans Act– (a) Government who hold pensionable offices in the public service and whose appointments to such offices have been confirmed; and (b) certified teachers of the first class and second- class grades, who are pensionable under the School Teachers’ Pensions Act, and whose appointments have been confirmed; and (c) employees of the Belize City Council who contribute to the Belize City Council Pension Fund and who have more than ten years’ service.
