Preparation of new valuation rolls

(1) New valuation rolls shall be made so as to come into force on the 1st January, 1966 in respect of Belize City and on such dates as the Minister may by Order appoint in respect of other towns; and thereafter new valuation shall be made for every town so as to come into force on the first day of April in each fifth subsequent year. (2) Every valuation roll shall remain in force until it is superseded by a new valuation roll. (3) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, the new valuation rolls for the City of Belmopan shall be made so as to come into force on the 1st April, 2001, and thereafter new valuation rolls shall be made so as to come into force on the first day of April in each third subsequent year.
