Apprenticeship

(1) There shall be paid on every instrument of (a) if not under seal, a duty of .................... $0.50 or (b) if under seal, a duty of .......................... $4.00 28 [CAP. 64 (2) An instrument of apprenticeship to the sea service is exempt from all stamp duties charged by this Act. (3) Every person who executes an instrument which is chargeable with duty under this section and is not duly stamped shall incur a fine of fifty dollars.
