Penalty for duties frauds

Any person who practices or is concerned in any fraudulent act, contrivance, or device, not specially provided for by law, with intent to defraud the State of any stamp duty, commits a misdemeanour punishable summarily or on indictment, but so that the punishment on summary conviction shall not exceed six months imprisonment. 13
