Regulations

The Minister may make Regulations for the better administration of this Act, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, such Regulations may– (a) provide for the registration of Qualified Retired Persons and the procedure to be followed therefor; (b) specify the type and amount of goods which may be imported into Belize by a Qualified Retired Person as personal effects; (c) specify the type of approved means of transportation which may be imported into Belize by Qualified Re- tired Persons; (d) prescribe the fees to be paid for the grant of visas and other permits; (e) specify the type of persons below the age of eighteen years who may qualify as dependents; (f) specify the procedures to be followed by a Qualified Retired Person in disposing of his 9 personal effects and approved means of transportation imported pursuant to this Act; (g) Repealed. (h) designate, by name or by office, the persons or officials who shall be responsible for the day- to-day administration of this Act; and (i) provide generally for anything incidental to or connected with this Act. .
