Exemption from taxes and duties

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Income and Business Tax Act, Customs and Excise Duties Act, the Customs Regulation Act, the General Sales Tax Act, and the Hydro Maya Power Project [CAP. 59:03 5 Stamp Duties Act, or any regulations made thereunder, the Producer shall, for a period of 12 1⁄2 years from 8th September, 2019, be exempt from the taxes and duties specified in the Schedule.
