Applications from small and medium enterprises

(1) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Act, any person desirous of conducting a small or medium enterprise in Belize may apply to the Minister through the Executive Chairperson of BELTRAIDE for an approved enterprise Order. (2) Every application made pursuant to sub-section (1) shall be in such form and accompanied by such fee and documents as may be specified by the Minister by regulations made under this Act. (3) Every application from a small and medium enterprise for an approved enterprise order shall be considered by a Cabinet Sub-Committee consisting of the following– (a) the Minister responsible for Investment; (b) the Minister responsible for Industry; and Schedule II.
