Forcibly opposing execution of this Act

Any person who, (a) assaults any officer acting under this Act or any person acting in his aid; (b) assaults any officer who has seized, or is about to seize, or examine, anything as forfeited under this Act; 45 (c) forcibly opposes, or offers or threatens to oppose any officer in the execution of any of the powers conferred by this Act; or (d) rescues any offender arrested or thing seized under this Act or prevents the arrest of any such offender or the seizure of any such is liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months.
