Sale of spirits for unlawful purpose

Any person who knowingly sells or delivers, or causes to be sold and delivered, any spirits to the end that they may be unlawfully retailed, or consumed, or carried into consumption is, in addition to any other penalty or forfeiture, liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, and the spirits shall be forfeited.
