Checking of quantity of work, etc., in distillery

An Excise Officer may at any time take an account of the quantity of wort, wash, low wines or feints found in a distillery and if the quantity of wort, wash, low wines or feints found in a distillery is less than the quantity which according to the account so taken ought to be therein, the distiller is liable worth, etc., in 22 to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars unless he satisfies the Comptroller that the deficiency does not result from fraud.
