Capacity of vessel-how ascertained

(1) In the event of any disagreement arising under this Act between a distiller and the Proper Authority as to the capacity of any vessel, the capacity of such vessel shall be ascertained either by filling the vessel and measuring off the contents by an imperial gallon measure or by such other method as may be authorised by the Comptroller. (2) In this section, the expression “vessel” means any still or any wash vat, receiver, tank, utensil or fitting used in connection with a still.
