Remedy under any other provision of law unaffected

(1) Nothing in this Act shall be construed as limiting or affecting any remedy or right of appeal, objection or procedure given to any person by any other law. (2) The Ombudsman may initiate or continue any investigation and report thereon pursuant to this Act notwithstanding any legal proceedings relating to the subject- matter of the investigation. 27
