Joint Select Committees

(1) The Senate may for the purposes of any Select Committee appoint not more than six Members to sit with 152 Belize Constitution Members of the House of Representatives as a joint Select (2) The quorum of a joint Select Committee shall be such as the Committee may decide. (3) Except as is otherwise provided by these Standing Orders or by special direction of the Senate, a joint Select Committee shall elect its Chairman from among its Members. (4) A joint Select Committee may be appointed at the request of either House with the approval of the other House.
