Joint Select Committees

(1) The House may for the purposes of any Select Committee appoint not more than six Members to sit with Members of the Senate as a joint Select Committee. (2) The quorum of a joint Select Committee shall be such as the Committee may decide. (3) Except as is otherwise provided by these Standing Orders or by special direction of the House, a joint Select Committee shall elect a Chairman from among its members. (4) A joint Select Committee may be appointed at the request of either House with the approval of the other House.
