Permitted hours

Such goods maybe imported or exported on any day between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and at such other times as the Comptroller of Customs with the consent of the Financial Secretary shall permit– Provided that the Comptroller may impose restrictions on the type of goods which may be imported or exported during such extended hoursProvided also that such goods shall only be permitted to be imported or exportedCAP. 289. (a) on any public or bank holiday as defined by the Holidays Act, as amended; Customs Regulation 5 (b) on any Sunday; and (c) on any other day after the normal working hours, on payment by the importer or exporter of the amount of overtime or other remuneration due to the officer of customs attending on duty.
