Lost and destroyed goods

If any goods entered or warehoused, or entered to be delivered from any warehouse or customs area are lost or destroyed by any unavoidable accident either on ship board or in the landing or shipping of the same, or in the receiving into or delivery from any warehouse or customs area, the Minister may remit or return the duties payable or paid on the quantities of such goods so lost or destroyed. 49
