Warehousing of gunpowder

(1) Any importer of gunpowder may warehouse it in the government powder magazine without payment of duty on the first entry thereof, subject to the rules and regulations at any time in force with respect to goods warehoused in the Queen’s warehouse, or to any rules and regulations to be made by the Minister. (2) For the gunpowder so warehoused the importer shall pay warehouse rent as follows, or such other rent as the Comptroller with the approval of the Minister may from time to time charge– (a) for each barrel of one hundred pounds, per month, or part of a month, twenty-five cents; (b) for each smaller package in proportion.
