Regulating the carriage of bonded goods

(1) No ship or boat, on board of which any goods are shipped under bond, or which has on board any other goods for exportation, shall take on board or carry any goods to be landed within the limits of Belize, or call anywhere within Belize whilst on her voyage with such goods, without the special written permission of the Comptroller. (2) The master of every ship or boat who, without reasonable excuse the proof of which shall lie upon him, acts in contravention of this section is liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, and the ship or boat is liable to be forfeited.
