Appointment and powers of the Director of Sports

(1) The Director of Sports shall be appointed by the Minister in consultation with the Council and shall be paid such remuneration out of the National Sports Fund established under section 16 as the Council shall decide. (2) No suit shall lie against the Director of Sports acting under this Act for anything done or omitted to be done by him in good faith. (3) In the exercise of his powers and the carrying out of his duties and functions, the Director of Sports shall comply with any general or special directions issued by the Minister.
