Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, “Council” means the National Sports Council established under section 5 of this Act; “Minister” means the Minister responsible for sports; “registered sporting organisation” means any sporting organisation registered with the National Sports Council; “sporting organisation” means any organisation constituted for the promotion of or participation in sports; “sports committee” means a sports committee appointed under section 8 (1) or (2) of this Act; “Sports Tribunal” means the Tribunal established under section 23 of this Act.
