General minimum requirements for equipment and furniture
Social Service Agencies (Operators Of Residential Care Facilities For Children) (Registration, Licensing And Minimum Operating Requirements) Regulations, reg. 22 · Revised Edition 2020
(1) Each facility shall have certain minimum equipment and furniture of the right size, type and number for the children using the facility.
(2) The equipment and furniture at every residential care facility for children shall be–
(a) safe and in good mechanical repair; and
(b) durable.
(3) Toys and educational materials shall correspond to the abilities, interests and social needs of the residents.
