Minimum staffing requirements

(1) Every operator registered and licensed under these Regulations shall employ persons who are in good physical and mental health, who have no history of child abuse and neglect and who are professionally qualified to– (a) provide necessary care and support in assisting residents to adjust to living in a residential care facility and accomplish goals outlined in their individual care/treatment plans; (b) relate and communicate well with adults, especially parents. 78 Social Service Agencies (2) Every operator registered and licensed under these Regulations shall utilize the services of a social services practitioner.
