Social Service Agencies (Operators Of Residential Care Facilities For Children) (Registration, Licensing And Minimum Operating Requirements) Regulations, reg. 14 · Revised Edition 2020
(1) Every Operator shall ensure that the residential care facility for children shall have an executive body known as the board of directors that shall oversee the management of the facility.
(a) The board shall be comprised of a minimum of 5 members, with not more than 2 members from the staff of the facility, one of these being the provider, who shall have full voting powers;
(b) Members of the board should not be related.
(3) The board shall meet a minimum of four times per year and shall hold a general meeting annually to elect its executive.
