Entitlement to maternity allowance

(1) Subject to the provisions of these Regulations maternity allowance shall be payable in the case of pregnancy and confinement to an insured woman who satisfies the prescribed conditions. (2) An insured woman shall not be entitled to maternity allowance in respect of any day on which she engages in remunerative work.
