Certification and medical examination

Subject to the Claims and Payments Regulations, a claim for sickness benefit shall be supported by a medical certificate or by such evidence as may be prescribed or as the Manager may require for the purpose of establishing the claimant’s incapacity for work: Provided that the Manager may for such purpose require the claimant to attend for and submit himself to medical examination by one or more medical practitioners appointed by the Board.
