Funeral grant on death resulting from a personal injury

(1) A funeral grant shall be payable in respect of an insured person who dies as a result of a personal injury caused by accident. (2) The amount of the funeral grant shall be fifteen hundred and fifty dollars. (3) A funeral grant shall be payable to the person who in the opinion of the Manager is liable and willing to meet or being so liable has met the cost of the funeral: Provided that in the absence of such person the funeral grant shall be payable to such other person or persons as the Manager may in his discretion determine. 96 Social Security
