Entitlement to parent’s pension

(1) A parent of the relevant person shall be entitled to a periodical payment (hereafter in these Regulations referred to as “parent’s pension”) if such parent – (a) at the date of death of the relevant person was over fifty–five years; and (b) shows to the satisfaction of the Manager that he was mainly maintained by the relevant (2) A parent’s pension shall cease if the parent remarries or would be deemed to have remarried under the provisions of Regulation 63. child ‘s pension.
